Kara Hauck joins Qorvis Communications as a Vice President of Public Affairs where she will be using her public affairs experience to further support the great client work being done for the Alzheimer’s Association, among other clients. She is a strategic communications and public affairs specialist who brings nearly a decade of Capitol Hill experience to Qorvis.
Hauck has served as a key communications adviser to Members of Congress at the highest levels of U.S. House leadership. Prior to joining Qorvis, Kara was Communications Director for the House Republican Conference and its Chair, Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA), where she led a team of best-in-class communications and creative professionals responsible for implementing comprehensive strategies designed to educate and inform the public about policies advancing in the U.S. House, such as tax reform, national defense and healthcare. A Cincinnati, Ohio native and graduate of Miami University, Hauck has also served in a variety of communications roles for several Members of Congress, including as Communications Director for former-House Speaker John A. Boehner’s (R-OH) political operation and Press Secretary for Rep. Steve Stivers (R-OH).
