From 2008 to 2011, Nagle acted as an in-house management consultant to Istanbul’s largest commercial law firm, Hergüner Bilgen Özeke Attorney Partnership.
He managed all English-language marketing and communications, including coordination of all the firm’s international publications, direction and supervision of all business development activities, and composition of all types of documents.
Prior to working at Hergüner Bilgen Özeke, Nagle worked as a senior associate at Bork & Associates in Washington, D.C. There he composed and edited materials for publication in national and international press, including PR documents, op-ed articles, press releases and letters to the editor. His work focused on protecting the client’s image in high-profile litigation, employing media outlets to explain key issues to the public.
In 2004, Nagle worked as the chief administrator for a productivity improvement project in the Republic of Mordovia in the Russian Federation, where he gathered and systematized information on the structure and operations of the client enterprise. As a contract attorney in the Washington, DC area, Nagle’s work involved high-stakes litigation, government investigations and large-scale corporate transactions across a broad range of sectors and industries.
He has worked at Arnold & Porter, Covington & Burling, Crowell & Moring, Hogan Lovells, Hunton & Williams, Latham & Watkins, Seyfarth Shaw, Sidley Austin, White & Case, and Williams & Connolly.
Nagle holds a BA in International Affairs (1988) and a MA in Russian and East European Studies (1991) from George Washington University in Washington D.C. He received his law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, earning certificates of excellence in comparative constitutional law, Islamic law, and Russian law.
