Kingdom of Bahrain
Qorvis Communications has a long-standing relationship with Bahrain, assisting the government to communicate its policies, unique character, political reforms and diplomatic efforts to the global news media, international community and policymakers. Qorvis' ultimate responsibility is to assist Bahrain with the peaceful resolution of its domestic challenges and help bring economic prosperity, development and stability for all citizens through positive and proactive communications.
As the first Gulf nation to sign a free trade agreement with the U.S., Bahrain tasked Qorvis with promoting economic development and business opportunities between the countries. When protestors brought Bahrain's economy and society to a standstill, Qorvis worked with the government to communicate a National Dialogue to bring all sectors of society together, promote the Bahrain Independent of Commission of Inquiry (BICI) report detailing challenges and offenses suffered by both sides of the conflict, and illustrate the series of activities undertaken by the government to implement reforms and better serve its citizens.
Qorvis has also facilitated visits by international observers, members of the media, NGOs and policy officials to promote international understanding of local civic engagement, including around elections. Qorvis has been instrumental in rebuilding global support for events such as the Bahrain International F1 auto race, and trade, tourism and investment opportunities as well as restoring arms sales from the United States.
