BIDEN JOB APPROVAL: AVERAGE 55%
Down 1 from last Tuesday
RON’S COMMENT: Today’s average is based on five polls, ranging from 50% (Rasmussen) to 62% (Politico). Without these extremes it would still be 55%.... Biden’s disapproval rating averages 41% today (+1 from last Tuesday).

NATIONAL FAVORABILITY RATINGS
Among voters nationwide
Do you have a favorable or an unfavorable opinion of the following….
% = Favorable/Unfavorable
- Andrew Cuomo: 29%/53%
- Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: 42%/42%
- Bernie Sanders: 51%/42%
- Joe Manchin: 23%/34%
- Ted Cruz: 33%/55%
- Liz Cheney: 30%/42%
- Marjorie Taylor Greene: 21%/42%
RON’S COMMENT: Random observations––
- Cuomo has taken a major tumble since the early days of the pandemic when he was white hot. His ratings are now lopsidedly negative; the nursing-home matter and the recent harassment allegations are having a worsening impact. His positive rating among fellow Democrats nationwide is 51%., down from 71% last April. Republicans are now 10% favorable/71% unfavorable toward the New York governor, and independents are 19% favorable/59% unfavorable.
- AOC’s popularity among fellow Democrats nationwide (73% favorable/11% unfavorable) makes her a serious player within her party. Of course, Republicans detest her (13% favorable/69% unfavorable).
- Sanders maintains strong ratings. Among Democrats, he’s 83% favorable/13% unfavorable.
- Manchin is the independent-minded, centrist Democrat who causes heartburn for his party’s leaders. It shows in national polling: He’s net negative among his own party, 25% favorable/34% unfavorable––even though without him, Democrats would not control the Senate (he represents West Virginia, a pro-Trump bastion).
- Cruz still does pretty well among Republicans (60% favorable/25% unfavorable) despite the torrent of negative publicity he’s received from his Cancun jaunt. Of course, Democrats despise him (11% favorable/80% unfavorable) and independents are strongly negative (28% favorable/56% unfavorable).
- Republicans think more of Marjorie Taylor Greene than Liz Cheney, as we've been seeing in national polls since mid-January. Among fellow Republicans, Cheney is 20% favorable/45% unfavorable. Among fellow Republicans, Taylor Greene is 34% favorable/19% unfavorable.
PANDEMIC RELIEF LEGISLATION

[Asked of voters who have heard of the pandemic relief bill]: Do you support or oppose the $1.9 trillion COVID-19 aid package currently being passed through Congress?
Support: 65%
Oppose: 28%
Not sure: 7%
RON’S COMMENT: Support remains strong for Biden’s pandemic relief bill. Support by party: 90% among Democrats, 39% among Republicans and 62% among independents.
