Senior Account Supervisor
Rachel Ryan is a senior account supervisor at Qorvis Communications, working between Paris and Washington, D.C. Ryan’s strategic communications and public affairs expertise is complemented and strengthened by her near-decade of reporting experience as a transatlantic journalist.
Ryan has a proven international track record of generating top-tier media coverage, gaining support for legislative positions, building strong brand reputation and encouraging consumer behavior on behalf of clients in the government, technology, financial and health care sectors.
Before joining Qorvis, Ryan worked at Powell Tate|Weber Shandwick, where she spearheaded the prestigious 2015 SABRE award-winning Lung Cancer Alliance national media and Beltway advocacy campaign.
Ryan continues to report as a freelance journalist, contributing regularly to the Huffington Post and Independent Journal Review (IJ). Before pivoting to a career in public affairs, she covered politics and international affairs at FrumForum, a politics blog that has since been incorporated by The Atlantic.
Ryan graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in political science and French. She also studied political theory at La Sorbonne in Paris, as well as international relations at L’Università Catolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy. Ryan is fluent in English, French and Italian.
