A seasoned communications professional with recognized experience in integrated communication campaigns and strategic planning for clients across multiple industries. She is a result-oriented manager of assets and resources who executes proactive, organized, and innovative strategies.

As Chief Operating Officer at Qorvis, Abad focuses on the agency’s strategic growth, talent management, business operations, and financial management. Abad works extensively on the strategic forecasting and planning related to the diversification of Qorvis’ service offerings and expansion. Abad is passionate about building a diverse and inclusive culture and supporting team members with their professional development.

Abad works with her clients to elevate their brands. She focuses on corporate communications, public diplomacy and event management. She advices agency’s operations in Europe, Africa and South America. Her areas of expertise include public relations, public affairs, corporate reputation management, U.S. Hispanic media relations, and event management.

Prior to joining Qorvis, Abad served as a vice president at Signal Group and MSLGROUP, where she implemented programs to enhance her clients’ reputation in new and existing markets as well as managed media messaging, training and outreach. From consumer and entertainment clients to sovereign governments, she successfully developed strategic campaigns that spoke to diverse audiences.

Abad was featured in Huffington Post as one of the 40 Top Latinos in American Media, 50 Top Latino Voices to Follow on Twitter, and 7 Young Latinos in Online Media to Watch. She has an M.B.A. in marketing and a B.B.A. in international business from Florida Atlantic University. She’s originally from Ecuador and speaks English, Spanish, and German.
