Senior Account Executive
Jamie Salem is an internal communications associate at Qorvis Communications, producing the office internal newsletter and providing assistance in editing, auditing websites, and research.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in communications and English from Virginia Tech in 2004, Salem spent the next 10 years working for the nonprofits the American Arab Anti-Discriminations Committee (ADC) and United Palestinian Appeal, Inc. (UPA), where he learned the value of fighting for causes and picked up fundraising skills that he uses on occasion for work projects at Qorvis. In the period between his stints at those non-profits, Salem got his masters’ degree in public administration from George Mason University and, during his last semester of graduate school, 2007, had an internship at Qorvis.
Salem brings years of writing experience to Qorvis and enjoys participating in work-sponsored events outside the office, such as the Walk to End HIV/AIDS in November 2016. Salem was the top fundraiser in that event.
