Andrew Rugg is a vice president at Clarus Research Group, the research component of Qorvis MSLGROUP.
Rugg’s portfolio includes the design of research strategies for clients and extensive analysis of public-opinion data in relation to the public-policy process. Drawing from his professional and educational experience, he develops research programs to meet the client’s objective, from political opinion to brand identity to media penetration. Rugg draws from in-depth individual interviews and focus groups to telephone, online, and mixed-mode surveys to find the most appropriate scientific methodologies to deliver the most usable results to clients.
Before joining Clarus, Rugg worked with The American Enterprise Institute, where he conducted and provided insight and analysis of public-opinion research, public policy and political and social trends.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics, philosophy and history from Georgetown University.
