Gautam Chatur is a lead interactive strategist who helps define innovative and highly effective digital marketing strategies for our corporate, association, government and non-profit clients.

Chatur performs detailed evaluation of client business environment to design integrated insight driven digital strategies. Chatur structures and presents recommendations to senior client leadership for approval and then works with Creative, PR, IT, Media, Marketing and Analytics teams to ensure successful project delivery. Chatur also contributes to and leads new digital "evangelization" initiatives within Qorvis.

Pertinent Background

• Prior to joining Qorvis, Chatur executed interactive and technology consulting projects at Sapient, Inc., a top tier global consulting firm. Among his experience there he handled strategy for Sprint social networking site buzzaboutwireless.com, execution of search marketing/web analytics campaigns for Sprint Business, program management for the COO of Library of Congress, comprehensive audit of Washington Post Newsweek Interactive IT, and project portfolio management for Verizon Inc..
• As the Account Lead, Chatur successfully defined and executed the web, advertising and digital marketing strategies for YMCA of Metropolitan Washington (top non-profit in DC).
• As the Interactive Manager, Chatur executes search/banner advertising/SEO campaigns/microsite marketing for SHRM (top 10 associations in US). At SHRM he has defined viral widget based campaigns to engage target audiences on Facebook, iGoogle, etc. and currently executing their iPhone platform strategy.
• Currently Chatur is building the iPhone application for Mexico Tourism Board (top US focused tourism promotion agency in the world) and also consulting them on the redesign of their main portal visitmexico.com.
• In April 2009, Chatur played a pivotal role in defining the digital strategy for George Washington's Estate (top 10 attraction in DC). He now owns the execution of the ecommerce vision which involves integration of shopping, ticketing, donations, membership, volunteering and restaurant reservations functions.
• After his first Masters degree in 1999, Chatur began his technology career with firms like Verizon Inc., i2 Technologies and Register.com before advancing into the field of Interactive Strategy and Program Management.

Education

Chatur graduated from University of Maryland College Park with an M.B.A. in Marketing in ‘07 and M.S. in Engineering in ’99.
