Emily Boyer joined Qorvis in 2007. She focuses on interactive design and advertisements, as an interactive director. Boyer works with clients in the corporate, nonprofit, and technology sectors, among others, providing strategic creative counsel, interactive website and mobile design, site map and user interface development, and interactive advertisements. She works with clients including Plasan, Beam Global Spirits & Wine, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, The Washington Post, SHRM, Pratt & Whitney, the Virginia Lottery, Ullico, and AAMCO.
Boyer was a crucial member of the development team for the Washington City Guide iPhone app, launched during President Obama’s Inauguration, which won a Webby Award for best mobile app. Boyer has vast experience providing interactive website and mobile design to Qorvis’ clients. She designed the Washington City Guide iPhone App and the Visit Mexico iPhone App.
Boyer has created online and interactive advertisements for SHRM, the Virginia Lottery, Ericsson, and Youth Aids’ “Kick me” campaign, to name a few, and designed websites for Ullico, the Archery Trade Association, The Washington Post’s onBeing site, Plasan, and ALS.
In addition to her strategic creative counsel and interactive design capabilities, Boyer is accomplished in site map and user interface development, interactive web design, mobile application design, the creation of interactive advertisements, and logo development and design.
Education
Boyer graduated from the University of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in art studio with a concentration in the graphic arts.
