Cassie Elliot is the managing director for advertising and creative at Qorvis Communications. She has more than 23 years of copywriting experience on major brands including United Airlines, Godiva, Nestle, Pfizer and Abbott Laboratories.
Elliot specializes in general awareness brand advertising and brand launches, as well as consumer relationship marketing. She has worked in every medium, including TV, radio, print, collateral and online for various industries. Her most recent position was VP, creative director at RTCRM (a WPP comp any), where her primary account was Abbott Laboratories.
Earlier, she worked for 15 years in New York City at a number of multinational agencies including Saatchi Healthcare, Digitas, Wunderman, Grey, McCann, Ogilvy and Young & Rubicam. Her client roster included Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Bristol Myers Squibb, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Coach, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Nestle and Regent Hotels, among others. Elliot began her career in the Far East at Leo Burnett in Hong Kong.
Elliot has strong client relationship and team-building skills. She is an expert at generating ideas, strategies and brand development outside the general scope. She grew revenue on a major pharmaceutical account by 136 percent in a three-year period.
At Qorvis, Elliot works on the AAMCO, Massey Energy, Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and Google accounts, among others.
