WASHINGTON, June 23, 2010 – Qorvis, one of the fastest-growing integrated communications firms in the U.S., today announced its Fairfax Radiological Consultants (FRC) campaign, “Clearly Better: High-Def, Low-Dose CT,” as a winner of the 16th Annual Communicator Awards.
The “Clearly Better” campaign increased awareness of FRC’s superior CT imaging capabilities among referring physicians and patients in the greater Washington metropolitan area. The fully-integrated public-relations campaign included: message development; media outreach; internal communications; online and television advertising; a search engine optimized campaign website (www.fairfaxradiology.com/lowdose); direct mail; and sales collateral.
“We are proud of the comprehensive approach we applied to this campaign,” said Qorvis partner Kelley McCormick. “The tangible results and awareness generated fulfilled our goals, but they were exceeded with the receipt of this award.”
Qorvis has received many awards and accolades for the FRC campaign, including a Gold Aster Award, selection as a finalist for a Silver SABRE Award in the “Healthcare Providers” category, and distinction as a “Platinum Winner” of the 2009 MarCom Awards.
Founded more than a decade ago, the Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. The program receives more than 9,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards program of its kind in the world.
