John Reid

John Reid is a managing director for the Middle East at Qorvis Communications. He splits his time between Washington and the Arabian Peninsula. Reid travels extensively, often to emerging democracies, presenting seminars on American media, communications and political strategy. Previously, he spent 10 years as one of the top rated television news anchors and reporters in the capital city of Virginia. Reid also worked as communications director in the U.S. Senate and at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and served as president of the Senate Press Secretaries Association. Reid has the distinction of having started his career as a intern-staff assistant to former President Ronald Reagan in Los Angeles.

He is a graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and a former adjunct professor of media ethics at Virginia Commonwealth University.
