YouthAIDS: Raising Funds for a Critical Cause
Qorvis is the agency of record for YouthAIDS, a worldwide, nonprofit initiative dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS among the world’s youth. In addition to directing media relations and external outreach for the group, Qorvis provides event management assistance to YouthAIDS surrounding their Annual Gala, the fundraising event that supports YouthAIDS’ life-saving programs.
Honorees at past galas have included Sir Richard
Branson, Senator Mary Landrieu, Senator Richard
Lugar, and Nobel Laureate Archbishop Desmond
Tutu. Through the promotion and management
efforts of Qorvis, the YouthAIDS Gala set a new
fundraising record in 2006.
