Scan a subway car and you’ll see most people’s eyes glued to their phone, scanning information. Stroll down any city street and observe just how many people are texting as they walk. The way people view their phone has radically changed in the last few years. People no longer just talk on their phone, they talk on their smartphone. They email on their Blackberry. They surf the web on their iPhone. They drool over using their Droid. The extraordinary experiences these phones provide prove they are more than just phones. And with over HALF A MILLION smartphones activated each day, Qorvis is embracing this new format for communication.

Qorvis’ mobile work surges beyond the norm and creates functional, appealing and successful applications for a wide range of clients:

  • In preparation for President Obama’s inauguration, Qorvis created the award-winning app Navigating Washington that gave visitors essential information through a virtual guide to the nation’s capital.
  • To boost tourism to Mexico, Qorvis crafted a vibrant app that was downloaded by 11,000 users in the first three months.
  • AAMCO enlisted Qorvis to design and develop an app that allowed users to schedule maintenance, find the nearest AAMCO dealer, call for help and offer roadside assistance information. The app was named one of Advertising Age’s Coolest Branded iPhone Apps for 2009.
