He offers diverse and bilingual (Spanish and English) media relations expertise to Qorvis’ clients.

    Managing director Scott McCullers brings more than a decade of public affairs and campaign experience to the results-oriented Qorvis approach. At Qorvis, McCullers has developed and implemented effective grassroots programs on issues ranging from asbestos litigation reform and bankruptcy legislation, to consumer education on artificial sweeteners.

    Matt J. Lauer is partner of Qorvis’ international and crisis communications clients.  His 15 years of public affairs experience, gained from working in the most intimate of American media markets to informing vast international audiences, serves a breadth of Qorvis Communications clients in the fields of crisis communications, international affairs, online search strategy and media relations. Prior to joining Qorvis, Lauer was the executive director of the U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy at the Department of State.

    Instrumental in the formation of Qorvis Communications, Michael Petruzzello continues to lead the company as it develops into the leading integrated communications firm of the Greater Washington, DC area. Petruzzello brings extensive marketing and communications consulting experience to Qorvis on regional, national and global levels.

  • Rich Masters

    Rich Masters joined Qorvis Communications in 2003 as managing director and became a partner in 2007. Masters is recognized as one of the top political and media relations experts in the United States and manages Qorvis media relations practice. In addition to developing and implementing multi-million dollar PR campaigns, Masters initiated Qorvis’ state-of-the-art media training studio in the company’s Washington D.C office where clients learn to “meet the press” and communicate their messages through any broadcast media.

  • Maura Colleton Corbett

    Maura Colleton Corbett brings nearly 20 years of communications, public affairs and coalition building experience to Qorvis Communications, leading the company’s technology public affairs practice.  Corbett provides strategic counsel to clients faced with complicated issues affecting the high-technology industry, including competitive telecommunications, wireless technologies including unlicensed spectrum applications, broadband deployment, and content-related policy issues including privacy, security and copyright. 

  • Stan Collender

    Stan Collender’s financial and public affairs communications experience is extensive. During his three decades in communications, he has designed and implemented award-winning communications efforts for financial companies, Wall Street firms, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, and federal agencies. Prior to joining Qorvis, Collender was the general manager of the Washington Office of Financial Dynamics Business Communications, national director of public affairs for Fleishman Hillard, and a senior vice president at Burson-Marsteller.
