Q Developers attend DrupalCon

In March the Qorvis developers Robel Kassa, Eduardo Velez and I attended DrupalCon, a conference about Drupal, in Denver, Colorado. What is Drupal? Drupal is an open source content management system. It allows users to easily organize, manage and publish content. Drupal.org has a large community of 630,000+ users and developers who contribute to numerous Drupal projects.

DrupalCon is a semiannual conference that allows users and developers to come together and collaborate, learn what’s new with Drupal, and discuss the future of Drupal. Each day is packed with sessions, ranging from building mobile friendly sites to setting up an e-commerce site, that Q Developers chose to attend based on specific client needs back here in DC.

DrupalCon is a great way for developers to become active in Drupal community and to discuss Drupal with other developers and even the most advanced developers who created some of the most known modules. It’s helpful not only for developers but for anyone who uses Drupal because DrupalCon offers such a wide variety of sessions which you can learn from. We had some great takeaways from DrupalCon and upon our arrival back at Qorvis were able apply our new skills to our client work as we strive to continually raise quality of service.
