June 3, 2005 - WASHINGTON , DC - Qorvis Communications, a leading privately held public relations firm, announced today it has signed on as agency of record for Operation HOPE, a national non-profit organization seeking to bring economic self-sufficiency and revitalization to America's inner city communities.

Qorvis will help create and roll-out a national communications plan to raise awareness and garner support for the organization, which offers financial literacy programs to underserved and underprivileged communities across the country.

“We believe in and support Operation HOPE’s vision and efforts, which will make our work for them that much more effective and meaningful,” said Rich Masters, managing director at Qorvis. “We look forward to helping Operation HOPE communicate their cause and grow on a national level.”

The partnership follows a recent project in which Qorvis helped publicize the opening of Operation HOPE’s newest HOPE Center, located in the Anacostia district of Washington, DC There are currently seven HOPE Centers open in the U.S.

“I could not be more thrilled to have a firm of the quality of Qorvis representing Operation HOPE,” said John Bryant, founder, chairman and CEO, Operation HOPE. “We built the organization with our own counsel, energy and effort, but we cannot grow it further without the counsel, energy and efforts of others. Experts and leaders in their field; experts and leaders such as Qorvis. And they genuinely care too! Honored to be associated. Truly. This alignment proves you can do well and do good, all at the same time.”
