FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Qorvis Communications listed among "Fastest Growing" and "Top 10" Independent PR Firms by O'Dwyer's

Washington, DC – March 16, 2005 - With more than $15 million in annual billings and a 25.4 percent growth in revenue, Qorvis Communications was 2004's second-fastest growing public relations agency among the "Top Ten" public relations agencies in the country, according to O'Dwyer's annual ranking of independent public relations agencies.

One of the largest independent public relations agencies in Washington, DC, five-year-old Qorvis was ranked as the No. 7 "Top Independent Public Relations Firm" in the country. This year's O'Dwyer's ranking listed more than 115 agencies with major U.S. operations.

"2004 was really a banner year for Qorvis," said Michael Petruzzello, managing partner of Qorvis. "We increased revenue through a variety of streams—new clients, particularly in the high technology sector, increased spending by current clients and the launch and success of our media training center."

Qorvis did not lose any major clients and secured a variety of new clients in 2004, including the U.S. Sugar Association, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Comstock Homebuilding, Feld Entertainment and SunRocket. Qorvis also expanded its capabilities and service offerings by launching a creative services division, an Internet advocacy group and a state-of-the-art media training center, where clients can perfect public speaking and interviewing skills.

According to Petruzzello, Qorvis' momentum has only increased in 2005.

"We're off to a great start in 2005," he said. "We've already added eight new clients and 10 employees to newly created positions in the first quarter, and we have many great projects to look forward to."

O'Dwyer'sPR and Marketing Communications newsletter has covered public relations, marketing communications and related fields for more than 37 years.
