QORVIS ADDS TO TECHNOLOGY PUBLIC RELATIONS PRACTICE WITH ADDITION OF MICHAEL QUINT

McLean , Va. , May 28, 2003 – Qorvis Communications, LLC today announced the addition of Michael Quint, managing director, to the firm's growing technology public relations practice.  In the last month, Qorvis has announced three other major personnel additions, including two senior level technology public relations professionals and the former deputy publisher of The Weekly Standard.  

Quint, who in 2001 was named by PR News Magazine as one of the nation's 15 Top PR professionals under the age of 35, joins Qorvis from Quint Communications, a strategic marketing and communications firm he founded in 2002.  Prior to founding Quint Communications, he served as director of marketing at Veritect, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Veridian, a $1 billion government contractor.  At Veritect, he helped position the company for sale to RedSiren Technologies in June 2002.

Prior to his role at Veritect, Quint served as director of corporate communications at eGrail, an enterprise software company he helped position for sale to FileNet Corporation.  Previously, he served as director of public relations for MicroStrategy, a publicly-traded enterprise software company and its subsidiary Strategy.com.  He developed and executed high-level media campaigns that generated extensive coverage in business and print broadcast outlets. 

He holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia.
