
Sol Levine Joins Qorvis – On April 22, 2008, Qorvis announced that Sol Levine, former CNN, NBC News and ABC News producer, has joined the firm as Senior Director. Levine served as Executive Producer for CNN’s White House Coverage and CNN’s global news program WorldView. He also produced news stories for NBC Nightly News and NBC’s The Today Show, as well as on-air and online news programming at ABC News. He will provide Qorvis clients media strategy council, media training and media relations consultation.

Qorvis Announces New Hires To Complement Growth - Qorvis announced today a series of 14 new hires in recent months to complement new business growth. In addition, on March 10, the public relations ranking publisher O’Dwyer Company moved Qorvis up on its Top-10 independent public relations firms list to the sixth spot, reflecting the more than 20 percent growth Qorvis experienced in 2007. Virginia Lottery Work Awarded Prestigious Addy Awards - at the prestigious Addy Awards ceremony held on March 6th Qorvis and SmithGifford won two Addy Awards for creative work on the Virginia Lottery account for Best Regional/National TV, Consumer Services, Entertainment/Lotteries. Winners were chosen from more than 800 entries. The winning creative was for the New Year's Millionaire Raffle, a spot called "Neighbors" and for Holiday Scratchers, a spot called "Still at Home."
