“Learning the Ropes”

The Qorvis internship program is designed to be different, reflecting our unique style and culture.  Through participation in the Qorvis internship program, interns learn first-hand the day-to-day workings of Washington’s largest independently owned communications firm. Interns interact daily with clients and major media outlets across the country. They work with our experienced staff on planning and executing special events, and on how to formulate and enact crisis communication plans. Through the Qorvis University (QU) program, interns learn directly from industry experts about all aspects of public relations.

Qorvis provides opportunities for both undergraduates and recent graduates through our program. Intern applications are accepted year-round, with 12-16 week internships beginning in January, May and September. Requirements include current enrollment in or a B.A. from an accredited 4-year college or university, an overall GPA of at least 3.0 and strong writing and editing skills. Majors in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business and Marketing are preferred, though not a requirement.
