Kathryn joined Qorvis Communications as a senior associate in 2007 to work with the Pharmaceutical and Research Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) team where she works closely with PhRMA’s communications and public affairs division on major issues affecting the industry. Among other things, Kathryn is involved with providing strategic messaging and written communications for PhRMA’s public education campaigns.

• Prior to joining Qorvis, Kathryn worked as the business reporter for The Pink Sheet, an industry trade publication covering the pharmaceutical industry where she wrote analytical stories on key developments including product approvals, drug research and development, reimbursement issues, relevant legislative events, and market trends.
• On the business beat she covered quarterly earnings calls, pipeline updates and analyst meetings and worked closely with market analysts and the investor relations representatives at pharmaceutical companies.
• Senior editor of The Green Sheet, an industry trade publication covering the pharmaceutical industry that is geared towards pharmacists.
• Senior Paralegal at King & Spalding in Washington, D.C. Worked on several litigation cases involving pharmaceutical companies.

Education

Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at The George Washington University in 2003.
