John Pfeifer is a seasoned advertising and design professional having started his career at Evans communications in the mid 80’s.  Having a background in traditional print advertising, Pfeifer has developed a well rounded sense of design and possesses an uncanny ability to distill complex messages into striking visual solutions.  Pfeifer’s specialties include corporate branding, design, and conceptual thinking.

Pertinent Background & Relationships

  • Pfeifer’s work in the DC area began in 1996 when he started working with Bill Replogle at local agency Rainmaker.  Later the two began a dotcom together and most recently the creative shop of Sparky’s Garage.
  • He has been instrumental throughout his career as a brand builder whether it is for a start-up or an existing brand that needs a boost.  Pfeifer has worked with clients such as Harley-Davidson, Kraft, S.C. Johnson Wax, National Geographic and America Online.
  • Pfeifer’s work is consistently recognized as some of the best in the industry garnering awards at all levels of competition.  Most notably Pfeifer recently won a national Silver ADDY Award for package design.  An honor bestowed on fewer than 1% of entrants.

Education

Pfeifer studied fine arts and graphics design at the University of Utah
