Focus

Lauren Dyke joined Qorvis Communications in May 2006 as an associate. Dyke’s practice areas are wide and range from media relations to client and vendor meeting coordination.  In addition to project management, she is also active in client research, messaging development, and plan implementation.  Prior to working for Qorvis, Dyke was the Director of My Gym Children’s Fitness Center in Chantilly, Virginia. She built and executed marketing strategies used to generate a greater bandwidth of awareness of the My Gym concept.

Pertinent Background & Relationships

• Provides support to a variety of clients including Cisco Public Sector, DynCorp International, Northern Virginia Technology Council, and Feld Entertainment.
• Has supported Qorvis’ Creative Services where she has managed project implementations for clients such as the Smithsonian Latino Center, and Banfi Wines. 
• Worked for former Governor Mark Warner under his Public Policy office where she helped research and present innovative policy plans for the benefit of the Commonwealth. While working for Warner, Dyke also analyzed current policy goals and their achievements thus far.

Education

Dyke graduated from the University of Virginia in May 2004 with a degree in American Politics and African-American Studies with a Minor in Biomedical Ethics.
