Focus

Jarrett Bens joined Qorvis in 2006.  He brings more than 12 years of professional communications experience to the company, working closely with clients on major issues affecting their industries.  His areas of expertise include pharmaceutical, energy, technology, manufacturing, transportation and trade issues.  Bens is a key member of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) team and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Americans for Transportation Mobility coalition (ATM) team. He is also part of iQ Research & Consulting, the research division of Qorvis that conducts polling and message development for its clients.

Pertinent Background & Relationships

  • Extensive experience creating, testing and refining strategic messaging for targeted audiences via focus groups, dial sessions (using a perception analyzer), town halls and surveys. 
  • Formerly a senior project director at Luntz, Maslansky Strategic Research, where he developed strategic communications for Fortune 100 companies and national associations in multiple industries.
  • Previously directed public relations and marketing efforts for technology companies in New York City and the Washington, DC area. 
  • Earlier, held marketing and sales positions in the Business Services division of AT&T.

Education

Bens earned a master’s degree in political science from Villanova University and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Temple University.
