George Atallah joined Qorvis Communications in 2006.  His extensive professional experience constitutes financial services, non-profit organizations, international and public affairs, and government and politics.  Atallah works primarily on the campaign for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with expertise in the field of U.S.-Arab relations.  He is involved with editorial content and message development, along with the Kingdom’s outreach efforts in the U.S.  Atallah also develops corporate communications strategies for the financial services and energy sectors, and specific technology initiatives.  Prior to joining Qorvis, he was with Fahmy Hudome International, a government relations and strategic consulting firm in DC, specializing in international issues and the energy sector.

Pertinent Background & Relationships

  • Senior Client Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York City.  Worked with the Equity Derivative Sales team and was responsible for managing an extensive client list that included hedge funds, mutual funds and other institutional investors.  Supporting the trading desk on several important firm initiatives to help increase trading efficiency and profit margins.
  • Senior Development Associate for the internationally acclaimed non-profit organization, Seeds of Peace.  Atallah was responsible for raising revenue for the organization’s programs and overall operations through corporate fundraising, in regional areas throughout the United States and through young-professional events.  During his tenure, he was a leading member of development team that saw a 30% growth in the organization’s operating budget.  He also represented Seeds of Peace as a spokesperson and keynote speaker at events and conferences all over the world.

Education

Atallah graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Boston College.  He is currently completing his M.B.A. at the George Washington University.
