Qorvis Creative Services Director, Jason Siegel, was a panelist and moderator for the conference, “The New New Internet Conference,” on November 1st. The conference, produced by ExecutiveBiz, was the largest New Media event on the East Coast and included speakers from Google, Amazon, and YouTube. YouthAIDS Gala Raises $1.7 Million for Fight Against HIV/AIDS

For the third straight year, Qorvis supported the annual YouthAIDS gala, held on November 2nd at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The event raised a record $1.7 million for YouthAIDS, a non-profit organization working in 60 countries to educate and protect young people from HIV/AIDS. The gala was hosted by Ashley Judd with rock legend Bono presenting the honorary award to the Honorable Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives. This year’s gala was themed “Faces of India” and included a video spotlighting the plight of HIV/AIDS-infected children in India.
